Privacy Policy - Captain App

This policy applies to the MAXCLEAN Captain mobile application. It explains how MAXCLEAN SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED collects, uses, stores and shares captain data for order assignment, live tracking, onboarding and payments.

What We Collect

  • Identity and contact details (name, phone number, email).
  • Employment and role details (captain type, status, attendance context).
  • Onboarding documents and images (such as ID and license uploads).
  • Order and payment workflow data (accept/arrive/complete/payment states).
  • Device and diagnostics data (app version, device metadata, operational logs).

Foreground and Background Location

The Captain app accesses precise location in both foreground and background for operational delivery.

  • Foreground location: used to find and assign nearby jobs, navigate to customers and update active order progress.
  • Background location: used during active duty/orders to keep live customer tracking accurate when the app is minimized or not in active screen focus.
  • Location data is used for dispatch, safety, customer ETA accuracy, attendance operations and service quality.

How We Share Data

  • Live captain location and assignment details may be shown to customers for active orders only.
  • Operational data is shared with authorized MAXCLEAN internal teams.
  • Service data may be shared with cloud/payment providers required to run the platform.
  • We may disclose data when required by law or valid legal process.

Data Retention

We retain captain account, location and order-operation data only for as long as needed for service operations, security, fraud prevention, financial reconciliation, dispute handling and legal compliance.

Your Controls

  • You can manage location, camera and media permissions in your device settings.
  • If background location is denied, key captain workflows (live tracking and dispatch reliability) may be limited.
  • You can request profile updates by contacting MAXCLEAN support.

Security

We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and loss.
